Diwali

First off, HAPPY DIWALI to all my indian and punjabi friends. =)

I didn't think i was going to be spending Diwali in any special way that day. Until the twins texted me at 5pm to come to their open house at 7pm. Was excited firstly because i just got a reason to get out of the house and kill the boredom. Secondly that i AM going to be doing something to celebrate Diwali. xD

Pretty cool. Nice people around and nice mood to the night. Had awesome traditional food. I always loved the sour stuff that looked like coleslaw (What's it called?).

The twins, Suneeta, Jwalita, Boon Hoe, Gurmeet, Jun Yan, Jun Ken, Amern, Suthasan, Megat and CJ were present.

Later played with the firecrackers. Was awesome. xP We started with the chinese one first though. The long chained one that blow up all at once. Was loud! (as you all know) haha. Took a video of it, will post up. We played most of it at the park, after Gurmeet the so called cautious one managed to burn one of those mini rockets in a can and knocked it over while it was burning. It faced to all the people at the porch! He tried to kick and directed it even MORE precisely to the centre of everyone. It shot out and hit his mum's leg out of all people. Everyone was making him feel bad...hahaha. She was okay though, she said she didn't feel a thing xP.

Spent most of the time mucking about with the fire crackers at the park.


"Who's the one kicked the rocket?! shoot him" - Twin's Auntie making him feel bad. Lol.

Release...

I want to release myself. From life stress and problems. How it would be nice. Just imagine...

I wanna be somewhere cool, with windy tall trees. Beautiful mountains and cliffsides overseeing the ocean. A lighthouse in the distance. Lying there on the soft grass of the cliffside looking up to the million unreachable glowing beauties called stars. Close my eyes and not worry about any dangers around me. Smell the wind. Feel the wind. Such intimate serenity.

If i could experience this in my life time. It would be priceless. With myself or with another. =)

Long Time No Physical Education...

It's been so long since the last time i've had PE. Always actually just been lazy to change clothes and because i don't find myself too good at futsal. hehe. Though i brought clothes this time because i thought there was supposed to be the fitness test thing going on for the guys this week. No fitness test. So i joined football at the field! nicer to play football with the group that was playing. I can have fun and still get the ball. Managed two pretty decent goals that weren't flukes! xP. Though i do think i'm alot better than i was last year. Terrible last year. Couldn't even get the ball in the air. haihh. Skipped BM while playing! haha eat it Teach'! =D

Funny i managed to not see Gurmeet the whole day after i went for PE. Not a trace. Lol.

I feel like playing futsal now. hehe.

Somebody Call 999

Okay, one hell of an evening last night. I was in the shower, doing my thing. When i could hear my sis shouting "MA! TERBAKAR!!"..."what??!!"..."TERBAKAR!! API TERBAKAR!!". DAMN! i had facial scrub all over my face and quickly put on my towel and ran out.the fuse box in the living room was on fire!! like serious shit!!(oh yeah that explains why while i was showering the heater started making weird sounds) It was fully ablaze! now my dad just got back from uk and had jetlag so he was asleep, quickly woke him up and he ran out. i told my sis to quickly bring Zafran down. We were all panicking! My dad was shouting for water while he was looking for some, but knowing what we know...we cant splash water over it, that would make it worse!! My mum ran down i followed her. Luckily she remembered we had a fire extinguisher in our house, she opened the box cut the tag. I took it and ran upstairs, while my mum offed everything through another fusebox downstairs so it was all dark now. Passed it to my dad, he was really shaking. He was asking in a huff how to use it.....i was like, "Pull the pin, pull the pin.....OKAY OKAY spray!!" the fire was put out pretty quick. But oh my god the dust was terrible! Breathing was difficult and it started to sting in me and my dads throats and noses. He was getting all giddy, luckily i was upstairs with him to lead him down the stairs. Worried he might trip plus could'nt see in the darkness and dust. Coughing and wining on the way down. Went outside and asked the neighbour to call 999. We left our phones inside in all the rush of course. Although i went up later to get my phone with a wet tissue over my mouth and nose. That's how i managed to still be able to text some of you about it. Fire engine arrived in around 5 minutes. They climbed in and took a look at the damage. Asked me to open the windows and such upstairs. My dad was catching his breath downstairs, his age has caught up to him of course :( Alot of my aunties and uncle quickly came over, luckily they all dont live too far, so we got a ride from them to our grandparents house in keramat and stayed there the night. Today got the wiring and everything fixed. The guy said it wasn't because of overloading, it's actually because before we had somebody fix the wiring and the dumb ass didnt tighten the wires which made it loose and exposed. Causing sparks. Thus caught fire.

I seriously advice you guys to have a fire extinguisher in the house, if what happened to me happened to you. You'll be crying watching part of your house getting burnt while the authorities come. When you could've saved so much if you had an extinguisher.

Breaking Fast At Grandparents...

Had 'buka puasa' at grandparents last night, because my few cousins who don't see us so often wanted to break fast with us 'ramai ramai' like we do every year. It's almost near the end of the fasting month so we had to do it soon. xP Nothing too fancy.
1. Mee Hoon Masak Lemak with prawns.
2. KFC.
3. Satay.
4. Ice Cream.

Oh yeah, we played with fire crackers later.
