Skating You Ask?

arrr yes, the day we finally get to go skating at the skatepark in Taman Metropolitan Batu, Batu Caves.
First thing was we got abit lost getting to Charleens house. We ended up all d way ahead of Gurney area. We called her trying to find our way around. We were lost and she was lost....hahaha. But luckily for 2 years not bein to her place Gurmeet roughly managed to get us there.
We took the highway to Batu Caves and managed to miss the junction out to Jalan Ipoh...DAMMMNNN. Had to go pretty far ahead until we could make a U-turn...i hate highways like that, if you miss a turn u gotta go way way ahead until u find a U-turn..:S..well finally we got there, not much of a hassle.
This is the first time for Yee Lyn and Savin(although it was supposed to be Ravin who was coming along but because of his ankle) going to the skatepark. We all started gettin our gear on, the ones that brought. You should've seen Gurmeet!!! he wore a towel around his neck and face like some kind of "terrorist"...although i thought he looked more like one of those gardners on a hot day beside the highway...hahaha. Sadly Yee Lyn admitted to bein a "chicken" at the skatepark so ended up not skating and just took pictures...lol(I'm expectin to see those pictures on your blog soon!!). We were startin to slow down d pace, then Boon Hoe n Gurmeet started posing for these shots of them "grinding"!!...ahahaha...I'm like....c'mon!..hahaha. Boon Hoe did a "50-50 grind" and Gurmeet did a "tail slide" and a difficult to balance "boardslide"....haha..FAKE SIAL!...haha.
Later while they were all talking bout something at the metal skatepark. Me and Charleen went off to the other side at the concrete skatepark. She told me she wanted to try out dropping in, at the mini ramp....i was thinkin"woah, really?"...haha. So i tried givin her my bestest support, while watchin in amazement that she's actually goin to do it!...haha...and boy did she do it...lol,,when she says shes going to do it..SHE MEANS IT!..she fell, but of course every one will fall trying to do that...but the point is she did it.....oh and did i mention she did it 6 TIMES!!...IN A ROW!!....falling all 6 times!...hahaha..shes tough...:P. When she reached around the 3rd drop in the others were already there givin her support too...XD...me, Gurmeet and Boon Hoe were sayin to each other how she can have d guts n make us look bad...hahaha...it was embarassing!....LOL...
Gurmeet now stepped up for a go at it.....and daemmn can that dude stall...hahaha.."i need to warm up first","i need some water first","i think i shouldnt do this one yet until i've tried a smaller one"...that kinda stuff...hahaha....the whole time Savin was totally makin him feel bad by sayin how Charleen got guts n she can do it....he got balls n he can't do it...hahaha....it was tuff...:P...then i thought..arr screw it...i don't do it now...gotta wait till nxt time we come here again..so got my board on the edge of the mini ramp..stood on it...and startin pshyckin myself out too!..LOL...its scary u know!...it looks high from eye level although its shorter than me!..and im 5"2!!...haha...after bout 5mins of pshyce out....i just took a breath, closed my eyes..just as i opened my eyes, i let myself drop...AARRGGHHH..hurt like a B*tch!!...but i went up again...hahaha...for another 2 drop ins totalling to 3 times...the third was worst..got myself a knee burn that still stings now..:S
It was already 5pm...we were late...we walked a long way to get a taxi!...we ended up in a sandy construction area beside the highway..it felt like we just walked out of WAR!...hahaha..findin a taxi was terrible...but luckily managed to find 2 taxis at once...me, Gurmeet n Charleen in one taxi and Savin, Yee Lyn n Boon Hoe in the other...we were supposed to be leading the way..but then we lost the others...haha..so now we headed to Batu Caves where the guy dropped us off at a Petronas Station with NGV where taxis go to...cos he was finishin his shift and he couldnt go that far...so got another taxi and told the guy to get us to melawati cos he didn't know how to get to Gombak LRT station. But luckily we came across the exit to DUKE Setiawangsa!!...YAY...straight path to home!...haha..we took that and went on our way back to Setiawangsa LRT station...we found out that the others managed to get to Gombak station and were on their way home...daemnnn...taxi fare all together came to about RM23....it was one heck of an experience i'll tell you that...a little bit exciting too, when you stop to see the adventure of it....haha...a very interesting day it was...:P...CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT TIME!...HAHAHAHA

Skate planning CHAOS!

WOW, who knew planning this skating thing was going to be SOOOOO DIFFICULT!!!....aarrgghhh!!!....everything was goin fine...well after i managed to get my mum and GURMEET FINALLY managed to get his dad to help send us...until...EROZ.....MSN-ed me..."theres YE on Wednesday"...i was like...:|....NNOOO!!!!!.....so she asked us to move it to thursday or something....problem is...there are absolutely no other days a majority of us can go!....GURMEET was bummed...cos he went through alot...hahaha...

so now i thought, all we need to do is get to school tomorrow and try and convince EROZ not to go YE!!!....then other bad news struck.....now CHARLEEN couldn't come!...cos the parents was worried bout police catchin us cos we werent at school where we were supposed to be...

we were so stressed out tryin to figure out a solution to all of it...but well EvEnTuAlLy...we drew up this idea.....but having it work meant sadly cuttin PRIYA SUBA n EROZ out....so sorry u guys...:(...so well...the final plan was....

12 o'clock: Meet at McD
- eat first
1 o'clock: mum goes to fetch sis n cuzin from school....n send to grandmothers house in Keramat....
1.30-1.40pm: come back to fetch us from McD...and head off to fetch CHARLEEN!!!!!....
we gotta make it fast though....cos now we're goin in d afternoon...we got less time to work with...but d point is...FINALLY managed to work this thing out...not so perfectly...cos many we were hoping could come didn't manage to....:'(...

In Memory of My Last Great Grandmother

My last living grandparent just passed away around 7.30pm 5th May 2009, she was already 87 years old and bed ridden for quite a long 3-4 years. We all weren't too sad, because we knew this day would come eventually after years of managing to accept this. So it didn't come to that much of a surprise. I know we will all miss her dearly. Especially my mother, because she claims to have a very special bond with her grandmother when she was young. She'd always praise my mother, 'manja' with eachother. My mother would be so excited when she was coming over to stay at their house.

But so her time has come, as will all of us to return to our God..........
